We know you want to keep Mellow all to yourself, but sharing is caring, right? We’ve made it possible for you to let anyone you want cook with Mellow. As the owner, you have the power to decide who gets to cook with Mellow and what other permissions they get.
- Invite others to use your Mellow
- What’s the difference between Family and Guest?
- I want to stop sharing my Mellow
Tap on More > Family & Guests > Add Family or Guest
Enter the email address your friend uses to log into the App with (or the email address tied to their Facebook login) and then select which permission you want to give: Family or Guest.
Note: You can still invite others to share your Mellow, even if they haven’t downloaded the App yet. Once they log in, they will need to accept the invitation by tapping on More > Family & Guests > Accept Invitation.
Before we explain the difference, it is important to note that only the person who initiates cooking can stop cooking and will receive in-app notifications (like when the food is ready).
Owner: Can start cooking, has full access to all cooking histories, can invite anyone to use Mellow and remove access a user’s access anytime.
One Mellow can only have one owner, but you can change owners anytime you want..
Family: Everything an owner can do, but can never remove the owner’s access.
Guest: Can start cooking, but can only view their own cooking history. This user cannot invite others to use Mellow or remove anyone’s access. Think of this person as a friend that wants to come over and use Mellow, but you don’t want them inviting everyone else to the party.
No problem! Just navigate to More > Family & Guests and tap on the user you want to remove. Next, tap on Remove User.
